Abstract:
A controlled cooling process for a piston made of non-quenched and tempered steel, and a device for the controlled cooling process. The process comprises: measuring the temperature of a forged piston, the product being a qualified product when the temperature thereof is greater than or equal to 930°C; placing the qualified product on a controlled cooling mechanism, and controlling a controlled cooling outlet temperature of a piston forge to be 700+/-20°C by adjusting the air volume of a fan and the speed of a conveying belt; and controlling the outlet temperature of an air cooling section to be 650+/-20°C and a heat-preservation cooling temperature to be 600+/-20°C. The controlled cooling device comprises a base (11); a controlled cooling mechanism, an air cooling mechanism, and a heat preservation mechanism are fixedly arranged on the base (11); and the air cooling mechanism is connected to the controlled cooling mechanism and the heat preservation mechanism. A forged piston is rapidly cooled to a required temperature by means of controlled cooling, thereby reaching the required hardness and performance requirements; the time of the piston at a specified temperature is prolonged by means of a heat preservation section, so that the structure of the piston is converted as much as possible.
