Abstract:
According to the present invention, in a fuel consumption focus control mode, if a request power generation signal is supplied while a vehicle is decelerating, an electric wastegate valve is opened so that the opening degree of the electric wastegate valve increases as the requested amount of power generation increases (S10 to S16). If the vehicle is identified to be in a state of deceleration and the fuel is cut based on the accelerator opening degree and the vehicle speed, an electronically controlled throttle valve is actuated to fully open (S18, S20). If the fuel consumption focus control mode is not in effect, if a request output signal is supplied, or if the vehicle is not decelerating, the opening degree of the electric wastegate valve is adjusted so that the engine output torque reaches a requested output value (S10-S14, S22).
