Abstract:
Provided is a non-contact information processing device, which can be made comparatively small and can alleviate a decline in the strength of a magnetic field which a communication antenna emits. A non-contact information processing device (1) which carries out non-contact communication of information to a card-shaped medium comprises: a plate-shaped substrate (2) whereupon are mounted a ring-shaped communication antenna (6) and a signal processing circuit part (7) which is electrically connected to the communication antenna (6); and connector members (3, 4) for electrically connecting the non-contact information processing device (1) and a higher-level device whereupon the non-contact information processing device (1) is loaded. The signal processing circuit part (7) is mounted upon the substrate (2) further toward the outer circumference side than toward the ring-shaped communication antenna (6). The connector members (3, 4) are mounted upon the substrate (2) further toward the inner circumference side than toward the ring-shaped communication antenna (6), such that the insertion direction of a second connector member which is inserted in and connected to the connector members (3, 4) is approximately parallel to the thickness direction of the substrate (2).
