Title:
CURRENT/VOLTAGE CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/039191
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a current/voltage converter that: despite being connected in series to a circuit being measured, does not pose the danger that conventional converters do; has a small footprint, allowing miniaturization; can be used with both DC and AC; can measure even large currents; and exhibits good responsiveness when measuring pulse currents. This current/voltage converter has two conductors (12, 14) that have different conductivities and are arranged so as to be contiguous with each other with a boundary plane (13) therebetween. The two conductors (12, 14) are provided with: two input/output connection parts (12a, 14b) that are connected in series to the circuit being measured such that the current being measured flows between said input/output connection parts; and two detection connection parts (14a, 14b) between which an instrument (16) that can measure voltage is connected. Said instrument (16) makes it possible to measure the voltage across the two detection connection parts (14a, 14b), and said voltage is proportional to the current being measured.
