Abstract:
Provided are a conveyance control device capable of enhancing the color reproducibility of printed images if the same job has been executed when conveying a platen to a plurality of printers, a method for controlling the conveyance control device, and a computer program. A conveyance control device 6 comprises: an MPU 20 that is a computer for controlling a conveyance device 2 in a printing system 1; and a memory 21 that is a storage device for storing history information in which first printing data and printers 5, which have executed printing based on the first printing data, are associated. The MPU 20 newly receives second printing data included in printing data and selects, on the basis of the received second printing data and the history data stored in the memory 21, from among the plurality of printers 5 an execution printer 5A to be the printer for carrying out printing based on the second printing data.
