Abstract:
This cooling device (100) is designed to perform cooling by utilizing evaporative latent heat without using a compressor and comprises: a liquid feeding section (10) that feeds a refrigerant; an evaporator (20) that evaporates the fed refrigerant; a condenser (30) that condenses the evaporated refrigerant; and a control unit (50) that controls the flow rate of the refrigerant. The control unit is configured to determine, on the basis of the temperature of the evaporator and the refrigerant temperature of the evaporator, whether or not dryout has occurred where a gas-phase refrigerant is in contact with the inner surface of a refrigerant flow path in the evaporator.
