Abstract:
The present invention cools a human body at an appropriate temperature while ensuring sufficient usage time. A cooling tool according to one embodiment of the present invention is a cooling tool that cools a human body, said cooling tool comprising: a cold-storing layer that is composed of a freezing material, said freezing material experiencing a phase transition at a specific temperature included in a temperature range that is appropriate for cooling the human body, and a packaging material for the cold-storing layer, said packaging material accommodating the freezing material; and a buffer layer that has a set heat conductivity, heat diffusivity, heat permeability, and heat transmission coefficient, and is composed of a non-freezing material, said non-freezing material being flexible at the phase transition temperature of the freezing material, and a packaging material for the buffer layer, said packaging material accommodating the non-freezing material and being formed from a flexible material, wherein the buffer layer is brought into contact with the skin of the human body and performs a heat transfer between the human body and the cold-storing layer.
