Abstract:
A cordless vacuum cleaner (10), comprising a rotary brush (22) disposed in a brush storage chamber (16) having a lower face opening (14) formed at the front part of a cabinet (20), wherein the rotary brush (22) is rotated by a DC motor (28) driven by a power supply from a chargeable secondary battery (26), the dirt scraped up by the rotary brush (22) is fed into a dust collecting chamber (18) formed in the cabinet (20) at the rear of the rotary brush (22) through a dirt passage (34) having a dirt return prevention step (36), and a flexible thin plate piece (38) is installed at the rear of the rotary brush (22) along the opening (14).
