Abstract:
A cosmetic comprising a glycerin modified with silicone at both ends, the glycerin being represented by the general formula (a) below: (a) wherein R1 represents a straight-chain or branched alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms or a phenyl group; R2 represents an alkylene group having 2 to 11 carbon atoms; m is an integer of 10 to 120; and n is an integer of 1 to 11. The cosmetic is excellent in feeling during and after application and powder dispersibility, because a novel glycerin which is modified with silicone at both ends is blended therein.
