Abstract:
A cover body opening and closing device according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with a rod, a latch member, and a displacement mechanism. The rod is displaced between a first position and a second position. The latch member is displaced between a locking position and an unlocking position relative to the rod. The locking position is where the latch member is engaged with a catch. The catch is provided to a cover body which opens and closes an opening. The unlocking position is where the latch member cannot engage with the catch. The displacement mechanism displaces the latch member utilizing force which displaces the rod.
