Abstract:
Provided is a sensor sharing system comprising a sensor data transmission device which is connected to a sensor and which is for transmitting sensor data which is received from the sensor and an onboard device for receiving the sensor data which is transmitted by the sensor data transmission device and carrying out driving assistance for a vehicle using the sensor data, wherein the sensor data transmission device comprises an input unit which is connected to the sensor and which is for accepting sensor data which includes position information of a plurality of points sensed by the sensor, a sensor data storage unit for storing the sensor data from the sensor according to a first format unique to the sensor data transmission device, a transmission data generation unit for shaping the sensor data accepted by the input unit and a sensing timestamp for the sensor data into transmission data of a second format which is universal in the sensor sharing system, and a transmission unit for transmitting the transmission data of the second format, and the onboard device comprises a first sensor data receiving unit for receiving the sensor data from the sensor data transmission device, a format conversion unit for converting the sensor data received by the first sensor data receiving unit from the second format to a third format unique to the onboard device, and a driving assistance processing unit for analyzing the sensor data converted into the third format to generate driving assistance information for the vehicle.
