Abstract:
According to the present invention, a chain cover (21) comprises: a first member (30) which is formed of a hard resin material and has a rear surface (31) that faces an engine body; and a second member (40) which is formed of a material different from said hard resin material and is joined to the first member (30). A groove part (36), into which a seal member for sealing the gap from the engine body is fitted, is formed only on the rear surface (31) of the first member (30).
