Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and discloses a CQI transmission method and apparatus, a terminal, and a network side device. The CQI transmission method of an embodiment of the present application comprises: a terminal acquiring a first CQI, such that when a first condition is satisfied, the first CQI is a CQI calculated by the terminal on the basis of first precoding, an RI and a CRI; the terminal reporting the first CQI to a network side device. The first condition comprises at least one of the following: the terminal being configured with a target high-level parameter, the target high-level parameter being used to instruct the terminal to use the first precoding to calculate the first CQI; the terminal receiving first instruction information, the first instruction information being used to instruct the terminal to use the first precoding to calculate the first CQI; the terminal performing channel state information (CSI) compression on the basis of an AI coding model; the terminal using an AI codebook; the terminal not being configured with an AI decoding model; and the terminal being configured with an AI decoding model, the AI decoding model not being associated with the network side device.
