Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message indicating a companion bandwidth part (BWP) of a source BWP, wherein the configuration message indicates a companion BWP identifier (ID) corresponding to the companion BWP, wherein the companion BWP ID is different than a source BWP ID corresponding to the source BWP; receive a resource allocation for a communication, wherein the resource allocation includes a cross-BWP frequency hopping indication that indicates that a frequency-domain resource allocation for the communication includes at least one hop corresponding to a source BWP and at least one hop corresponding to a companion BWP; and communicate according to the resource allocation.
