Abstract:
A crosslinking composition which comprises (A) a fluoroelastomer comprising tetrafluoroethylene units, perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether units, and olefinic hydrocarbon units and having one or more kinds of crosslinking reactive groups selected from among cyano, carboxyl and alkoxycarbonyl and (B) a crosslinking agent consisting of a compound having at least two functional groups represented by the general formula (I) [wherein R?1¿s are each independently OH, NH¿2?, SH or NH-R?2¿ (wherein R?2¿ is C¿1-10? alkyl which may contain 1 to 4 oxygen atoms and/or a halogen atom, or a phenyl or benzyl group which may have 1 to 5 substituents)]. This composition can give products of crosslinking of fluoroelastomers excellent in heat resistance and chemical resistances including steam resistance, and can provide crosslinkable fluoroelastomer compositions excellent in processability.
