Abstract:
Provided are a cutting data creating method, a cutting data creating device and a computer-readable recording medium with which it is possible to fabricate easily a desired decorative object in which partial patterns are combined to depict an overall pattern, by folding a sheet which serves as an object to be cut. The cutting data creating device is provided with a superimposition line setting means, a connecting means, and a cutting data creating means. The superimposition line setting means sets superimposition lines for overlaying part of a border of one partial pattern onto part of the border of another partial pattern, for each partial pattern. The connecting means connects the border of one partial pattern to the border of another partial pattern in a shape linked by the superimposition lines set by the superimposition line setting means. The cutting data creating means creates cutting data for cutting the borders linked by the connecting means, excluding the superimposition lines.
