Abstract:
Provided is a cutting device comprising at least two pulleys, blades wound on the respective pulleys, a drive source that drives the blades by causing at least one of the pulleys to rotate, a drive stopping mechanism for stopping driving of the blades, and an unwinding mechanism for unwinding the blades from the pulleys. Provided is a method for stopping driving of the blades in a cutting device comprising at least two pulleys, blades wound on the respective pulleys, and a drive source that drives the blades by causing at least one of the pulleys to rotate, the method for stopping a cutting device comprising simultaneously performing a drive stopping step for stopping driving of the blades, and an unwinding step for unwinding the blades from the pulleys.
