Abstract:
Provided is a damper that achieves, using an elastically deformable granular body, a damping force with a simple structure. This damper is provided with a cylinder (10), a piston (30), a rod (50), a rod guide (70), and a plurality of granular bodies (90). The piston (30) reciprocates in the center axis direction of the cylinder (10) by being housed in the cylinder (10). The rod (50) is connected to the piston (30). Furthermore, the rod (50) extends in the center axis direction of the cylinder (10), and protrudes to the outside from the opening end portion (11) side of the cylinder (10). The rod guide (70) is fixed to the opening end portion (11) of the cylinder (10). Furthermore, the rod guide (70) has a through hole (70A), which penetrates the rod guide in the center axis direction of the cylinder (10), and into which the rod (50) is reciprocatably inserted. The granular bodies (90) are spherical elastic bodies. The granular bodies (90) are applied into the cylinder (10).
