Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve operability when attaching or removing a fall prevention device. Provided is a fall prevention device (1), which is attached between the upper surface of a piece of furniture (F) and a ceiling (C). The fall prevention device (1) comprises: a damper (7); a first assembly (15) and a second assembly (17) which make relative approaches to and recede from one another in accordance with a telescoping of the damper (7); a pulley (19) which is attached to one of either the first assembly (15) or the second assembly (17); and a rope (21), one end of which is attached to the other of either the first assembly (15) or the second assembly (17), and which is laid across the pulley (19).
