Abstract:
A damper 10 comprises a fixed-side unit fixed to one of a first member and a second member, a damping part that abuts on the other of the first member and the second member, and a moving member able to move relative to the fixed-side unit. Between the fixed-side unit and the moving member is formed a height adjustment mechanism that movably holds the height of the moving member relative to the fixed-side unit. The damping part has a cover formed into a substantial cup shape and fixed to the moving member, and a viscoelastic body formed of a material different from that of the cover and contained within the cover.
