Abstract:
With removal of a short circuit occurrence point by a conventional fuse, due to fuse characteristics, it is not possible to ensure coordination in the fusing time of each fuse when there is a short circuit. To address such a problem, provided are: a converter (12) that has constant power drooping characteristics of limiting current flowing to a distribution line (26) when there is a short circuit, and flowing current of the rated current or greater to the distribution line (26) for a fixed time; and relays (181, 281) that have operating characteristics of detecting current of the rated current or greater, and opening switches (171, 271) hierarchically within a fixed time.
