Abstract:
The present invention provides a DC power distribution system having low power loss even when the DC system voltage and the load supply voltage differ greatly. The present invention comprises an AC-DC converter (20), a first sensor (51) for detecting the power generated by a power-generating device (5), a DC-DC converter for loads (30), a second sensor (52) for detecting the load supply power, and a switching-command-generating unit (10) for switching between two operating modes of the AC-DC converter. In operating mode 1, the voltage of a DC system (50) is set higher than the value obtained by multiplying the voltage effective value of the AC power by the square root of 2, and when the generated power is smaller than the load supply power, the switching-command-generating unit reduces the voltage of the DC system and switches the operating mode from operating mode 1 to operating mode 2.
