The thickener comprises a housing, a dilution and flocculation system, a shearing and dehydration system, an underflow circulation system, and an automatic control system; the housing comprises a thickening tank wall (1), a cone (2), and a collection cylinder (3); the dilution and flocculation system comprises a feeding pipe (4), a flocculant addition pipe (5), and a center feeding well (6); the shearing and dehydration system comprises a driving motor (7), a driving shaft (8), and a rake (9); the underflow circulation system comprises a discharging valve, an underflow pump, a circulation pipe, and a concentration meter (12); the automatic control system comprises a PLC control system (24).
