Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a deep water temperature difference power generation device that makes it possible to pump up deep water using little energy and generate a large amount of power. [Solution] A deep water temperature difference power generation device in which a deep water intake structure that has a large cylindrical shape is equipped with a large inner and outer diameter at the upper section of one end thereof and provided with an upper air layer, an upper air discharge opening for discharging the air of the upper air layer, and a water discharge opening on the water surface. In this way, deep water is pumped up using little energy and it is possible to generate a large amount of power by means of a large inner rotary member that rotates as a result of the flow of a working gas.
