Abstract:
Disclosed is a dental bulk block for machining, which is a functionally graded material including: a crystalline phase of which the main crystalline phase is lithium disilicate, and the sub-crystalline phase is silicate; and the remainder of a glass phase, and having a crystalline size gradient with respect to depth, and no interface present at the point of change in the crystalline size gradient. Thus, this is useful for the manufacture of artificial tooth prostheses that are similar to natural teeth, and accordingly, not only can reduce time and processes for manufacturing an artificial tooth prosthesis, but can also provide a structural stability enhancement effect in terms of force distribution due to functionally graded mechanical characteristics.
