Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To reduce the odor characteristic of an acrylate/methacrylate terpolymer to thereby enable the terpolymer to give an improved use feeling. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The deodorization method is characterized in that a terpolymer comprising units derived from a lower alkyl acrylate, a lower alkyl methacrylate, and a trimethylammoniumethyl methacrylate chloride is washed with water to deodorize the terpolymer.
