Abstract:
This detection device is provided with: an image acquisition unit that acquires a picked-up image picked up by an image pickup unit; and a control unit that generates or acquires a smoothed image obtained by smoothing the picked-up image. The control unit compares the picked-up image and the smoothed image with each other, and detects, from the picked-up image, a low frequency region having a predetermined spatial frequency spectrum.
