Abstract:
Provided is a detection device for making it possible to eliminate the effect of the environment surrounding a location in which a vehicle is actually moving and accurately detect a wall-shaped object. The present invention is provided with a length parameter threshold value utilization unit 24 for detecting a wall-shaped object on the basis of shape information indicating a wall shape actually existing in a periphery, and detection data used for detecting a wall-shaped object to be detected that is a wall shape having a length or height equal to or greater than a predetermined length or height.
