Abstract:
Disclosed are a detection method for a laundry treatment apparatus and a laundry treatment apparatus. An ambient temperature is obtained when a drying program is started, and a temperature reference of an air-out side of a lint filter is determined according to the ambient temperature. Then, after waiting for the drying program to run for a first set time, a first detected temperature on the air-out side of the lint filter is obtained, and the first detected temperature is compared to the determined temperature reference. If the first detected temperature is lower than the temperature reference, then the drying program continues to run; otherwise, a heater is turned off and a fan is kept running. The temperature is lowered by means of the running of the fan, and a second detected temperature on the air-out side of the lint filter is detected again. The difference between the first detected temperature and the second detected temperature is calculated. If the difference is greater than a set threshold, then a prompt that the lint filter is clogged is issued. In the present invention, the ambient temperature is introduced as the temperature reference during an initial stage of the drying program to improve the accuracy of temperature rise determination, thereby improving the determination accuracy of clogging conditions of the lint filter.
