Abstract:
This determination device is provided with: a feature amount calculation unit for calculating a feature amount from a cell image obtained by imaging cells; a distribution calculation unit for calculating a first distribution that is the distribution of the feature amount calculated from a cell image taken before a stimulus is provided to the cells, and a second distribution that is the distribution of the feature amount calculated from a cell image taken after a predetermined period of time has passed since the stimulus; a comparison unit for comparing the first distribution with the second distribution; and a reaction determination unit for determining the reaction of the cells in response to the stimulus on the basis of the result of comparison performed by the comparison unit.
