Abstract:

The device comprises a reservoir for extracted milk connected to a milking apparatus (3). Inside the reservoir (1) is located a milk level pick-up consisting of a float (15) with a magnet (16), through which passes a cylindrical casing (17). In the casing (17) are vertically and consecutively mounted reed relays (18, 251,... 25n) of a milk-level determining unit and of a programming unit interacting with the magnet (16) of the float (15) and connected to the corresponding inputs of a computing unit (21) mounted on the reservoir (1). The reed relays (18, 251,... 25n) are mounted at a distance equal to the optimal food ration of the animals, corresponding to their individual index of productivity.
