Abstract:
A device for lighting an elevator car, in which maintenance and replacement of
internal devices are facilitated and which can be easily reduced in size. The
device for lighting an elevator car has a stationary ceiling section provided
at the upper part of the car room; a movable ceiling section pivotally connected
at its one portion to the upper part of the car room to enable one end of the movable
ceiling section, which one end is adjacent the stationary ceiling section, to
be opened and closed in the vertical direction; an engagement section provided
at the one end of the movable ceiling section; and a support section provided at
that one end of the stationary ceiling section that is adjacent the movable ceiling
section. A projection is provided at the support section, and the projection
passes above a gap formed between the one end of the stationary ceiling section
and the one end of the movable ceiling section, extending from the stationary
ceiling section side to the movable ceiling section side. The engagement section
is engaged with the projection to hold the one end of the movable ceiling section
at a predetermined height. The projection is constructed movable along the one
end of the stationary ceiling section, so that, when the projection is moved to
one side, the engagement between the projection and the engagement section is
released.
