Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for managing ship oil. The device comprises: a first interface connectable to a first sensor; a second interface connectable to a second sensor; a third interface connectable to a controller for controlling the viscosity of the ship oil; a user interface for receiving a set value as input; a storage unit in which data on the relationship between temperature and viscosity is stored; and a processor. The processor: delivers viscosity information, received from a first sensor, to the controller when a first mode among a plurality of operation modes is selected; estimates a viscosity value, corresponding to temperature information received from a second sensor, on the basis of the relationship data when a second mode is selected; and outputs, to the controller, a valve control signal for maintaining the estimated viscosity value at the set value. Accordingly, the ship oil may be effectively managed.
