Abstract:
Provided is a multi-hop natural language document search method using a knowledge base. The multi-hop document search method according to an embodiment of the present invention involves: receiving a query as input; searching documents by using the input query; updating the input query by using a knowledge DB; and searching the documents by using the updated query. Accordingly, a search that retains the purpose of the original query can be performed by using documents retrieved in the current hop, as well as the current query and related knowledge, to update the query to be used in the next hop, and insufficient evidence obtained solely from the retrieved documents can be reinforced by using returned related knowledge, thus increasing the search success rate.
