Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device (1) for measuring the combustibility of spent nuclear fuel. The device (1) for measuring the combustibility of spent nuclear fuel comprises: a support (3) to or from which a nuclear fuel assembly (2) is fed or withdrawn; a plurality of sensor assemblies (5) that are disposed on the inner side of the support (3) to be movable vertically so as to measure gamma rays and neutrons; a pair of drive units (7) disposed on the upper side of the support (3) and having one side connected to the sensor assemblies (5); a pair of weight balances (9) each connected to the other side of the pair of drive units (7) so as to lift the sensor assemblies (5); a guide bar (11) disposed on the inner side of the support (3) in a vertical direction so as to guide the plurality of sensor assemblies (5) to rise and fall stably; and a control unit (12) that analyzes the gamma rays and neutrons measured by the sensor assemblies (5) to calculate the combustibility.
