Abstract:

A device for for accessing channel in a wireless local area network is provided. The device monitors simulatnesouly a first primary channel and a second primary channel. When a network allocation vector (NAV) of the first primary channel is set but the second primary channel is idle, the device switchs from the first primary channel to the second primary channel for initiating physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission on the second primary channel.
