Abstract:
A device and a method for feeding fuel capable of improving a fuel/combustion air mixing process and a controllability of mixing ratio, and also a device and a method for combustion capable of developing noble combustion characteristics. The fuel feed device of the combustion device comprises fuel feed means, a combustion gas lead-out device, a steam feed device, a mixing device, and a fuel gas lead-in device, wherein the combustion gas lead-out device leads out combustion gas generated in a combustion area from the combustion area to the outside of a furnace, the mixing device mixes at least one of the combustion gas led to the outside of the furnace and steam from the steam feed device with fuel from the fuel feed means, and the fuel gas lead-in device leads a mixed fluid of combustion gas, steam, and fuel, as a fuel gas, into the combustion area and mixes the fuel gas flow with combustion air, whereby, a process where fuel is mixed with air after the combustion gas is led out of the furnace and a process where the fuel gas flow is mixed further with combustion air are executed stepwise so as to improve the mixing process of fuel and combustion air and increase the controllability of the mixing ratio and, in addition, flame characteristics are controlled by such a fuel gas flow control so that a flame having novel characteristics can be formed in the combustion area.
