Abstract:

A timing device has a time display portion and a drive portion. The time display portion has a scale plate having a measurement scale from a zero hour position to a maximum time measurement position and an indicator needle pivotable on a fan-shaped track on the scale plate. The drive portion drives the indicator needle on the scale plate from the zero hour position toward the maximum time measurement position, and, after a maximum measurement time has passed, stops the indicator needle on an overrun display portion located at a position after the maximum time measurement position.
