Abstract:
A device (13) for preventing the fall of a part of an elevator includes a partition
device (14) disposed between a mounting frame (4) and a car (2). The partition
device (14) comprises a partitioning screen (15), a winding device (16) mounted
on the mounting frame (4) and capable of taking up and paying off the partitioning
screen (15), and a fixing hook (17) provided onto the car (2) and holding the screen
(15) paid off from the winding device (16). The screen (15) is disposed between
the mounting frame (4) and the car (2), thereby partitioning the space between
the car (2) and devices such as a hoist in the hoistway disposed at a position higher
than that of the car (2) from the space between the inside wall of the hoistway (1)
and the car (2). Therefore, even if a part is fallen from a device in the hoistway
during the operations of maintenance and inspection, the screens (15) can receive
the part, and the part can remain on the car (2).
