Abstract:
The present invention provides a device and program for calculating a physical distribution base arrangement plan in which physical distribution bases are eliminated/consolidated at such timing as to avoid losing a sales opportunity or incurring excessive costs. The present invention has a function for periodically calculating a change in a monitored item by processing physical distribution performance information; calculating, if an increasing or a decreasing tendency is recognized in the change, a physical distribution base arrangement plan by altering a controllable parameter with respect to a predicted future transport amount; comparing profits between the calculated physical distribution base arrangement plan and the current physical distribution base arrangement; and, if the profit of the calculated plan is larger, displaying information to the effect that the physical distribution arrangement needs to be reviewed.
