Abstract:

The present application relates to the field of terminals, and provides a device recommendation method and an electronic device. Upon receiving a chat message sent from a contact, the electronic device can rapidly recommend a device for a user to open related content in the chat message, such that a presentation process of the content in the chat message is more efficient and convenient. The method comprises: a first device displays a chat interface with a first contact, the chat interface comprising a first chat message; if the first chat message comprises first content, the first device displays first prompt information in the chat interface, the first prompt information being used for recommending a second device to the user; in response to an operation of the user of confirming the first prompt information, the first device displays second prompt information in the chat interface, the second prompt information being used for prompting the user to open the first content in the second device; and in response to an operation of the user of confirming the second prompt information, the first device instructs the second device to open the first content.
