Abstract:
A device (41) for reinforcing a vehicle body is formed in an elongate shape and has, in its middle, a hydraulic damper (46) for producing damping force against deformation in the longitudinal direction of the device. Devices (41) as a pair are provided in parallel to each other on a monocoque body (1), at positions where they are placed as a pair in the vehicle width direction such that their longitudinal direction is aligned to the front-rear direction of the vehicle body. The devices (41) for reinforcing a vehicle body are removably attached at their both ends, from the outside, to positions on the lower section of the vehicle body of the monocoque body (1) such that the devices are exposed to the outside of a vehicle interior.
