Abstract:
A diffractive optical waveguide structure (100), an optical apparatus, and a near-eye display device. The diffractive optical waveguide structure (100) comprises a light guide layer (110), and an in-coupling region (120), a relay region (130), and an out-coupling region (140) which are provided on the light guide layer (110) and sequentially arranged in a light path direction, wherein the in-coupling region (120), the relay region (130), and the out-coupling region (140) are each provided with a first diffractive micro-structure layer (150). The diffractive optical waveguide structure (100) further comprises a light homogenizing region (160), wherein the light homogenizing region (160) is arranged between the relay region (130) and the out-coupling region (140), the light homogenizing region (160) is provided with a second diffractive micro-structure layer (170), and the second diffractive micro-structure layer (170) is used for performing spatial energy redistribution on light, so as to improve the uniformity and brightness of emergent light of the out-coupling region (140). The light homogenizing region (160) is arranged between the relay region (130) and the out-coupling region (140), and the second diffractive micro-structure layer (170) arranged in the light homogenizing region (160) is used to perform spatial energy redistribution on light, so that the energy of emergent light propagating from the out-coupling region (140) is increased, thereby improving the uniformity of waveguide display and improving the overall brightness.
