Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical fields of information and communications, and discloses a digital certificate verification method and apparatus, a device, and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: a first device receives a first connection certification and a first digital certification sent by a second device, and verifies the legitimation of the first digital certificate on the basis of a root certificate trusted by the first device and the first connection certificate. In the present application, the first device and a second device do not need to confirm a root certificate trusted by a peer device, and the first device does not need to additionally upload other certificates, and likewise does not need to perceive the coexistence of at least two root certificates. The first device can verify the legitimation of the first digital certificate on the basis of the root certificate trusted by the first device and the first connection certificate. The method is simple and easy to implement and wide in application scope.
