Abstract:
Provided are a digital content transmitting apparatus and method, and a digital content receiving apparatus and method, which make the area of a broadcasting program transmitted on the basis of an MMT/TLV mode clear and visible in the form of partial stream content. The digital content transmitting apparatus of an embodiment is provided with a receiving part, an acquisition and separation part, a partial stream generation part, and a transmitting part. The receiving part receives a transmission signal transmitted on the basis of an MMT/TLV mode; the acquisition and separation part acquires an MMT/TLV stream from the transmission signal, and separates, from the MMT/TLV stream, component data related to specific content, and first control information data; the partial stream generation part extracts, from the first control information data, associated data for learning the source of the specific content, and generates a partial stream according to second control information data generated and including the associated data, and the component data; and the transmitting part transmits the partial stream.
