DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the subject of the invention is explained with examples with no limiting effect and only towards a better understanding of the subject.

The invention relates to a digital mobile identity system (10) for the identification of at least one mobile device (20) with an international mobile equipment identity number including the user identity data and time data and to ensure that the said identification is stored in a database.

In reference to Figure 1 ; the said digital mobile identity system (10) comprises a user interface (100) configured to allow the entry of international mobile equipment identity number of the said mobile device (20), and the identity data and communication information of the said user as data. In a possible embodiment of the invention, the said user interface (100) can be a website, an application etc. configured to allow the entry of the data. There is a processor unit (200) provided in a way to receive the data entered in the user interface (100). Said processor unit (200) is configured to receive the international mobile equipment identity number, and the identity data and contact information of the user entered by the user interface (100). There is a memory unit (300) connected to the processor unit (200) to allow it to write and/or read the data received by means of the user interface (100). Said memory unit (300) is configured to store the data received from the user interface (100). The memory unit (300) has a database feature configured to store the data. There is a communication unit (400) connected to the processor unit (200). The processor unit (200) is configured to transfer data to or receive data from a remote server (500) by means of the communication unit (400). There is at least one user terminal that has access to the said server (500). In one possible embodiment of the invention, the said user terminal is configured to be connected to the state security unit system. In another possible embodiment of the invention, the user terminal is configured to be connected to the state civil registry system.

The processor unit (200) provides receiving the international mobile equipment identity number, user identity data and contact information of the mobile device (20) by means of the user interface (100). The processor unit (200) provides the data received as entry by means of the user interface (100) to be compared with the data previously saved in the memory unit (300). If the processor unit (200) detects that any of the data entered by means of the user interface (100) is different from the data previously saved in the memory unit (300), it ensures that the new data is recorded in the memory unit (300) including time data. By means of the processor unit (200), the international mobile equipment identity number of the mobile device (20) is provided with a time stamp including the user identity data and communication data. After the identification process of the mobile device (20), the processor unit (200) ensures that the data is saved in the memory unit (300) for later use. The processor unit (200) further ensures that the data stored in the memory unit (300) is stored on a remote server (500) by means of the communication unit (400). By means of a user terminal connected to the server (500), authorized users’ access to the data can be ensured.

The processor unit further ensures that the international mobile equipment identity number of the mobile device (20) is transferred from one user to another. By analyzing the data entered by means of the user interface (100), the processor unit (200) can transmit alarm signal to a remote server (500) by means of the communication unit (400). The processor unit (200) also provides comparison of the identity data entered in the user interface (100) with the data predefined to a remote server (500) to which it is connected by means of the communication unit (400).

An exemplary operational scenario of the invention is explained as follows;

In order to ensure that the international mobile equipment identity number of a user mobile device (20) is stored with the time stamp method including the user's identity data and communication data, the user is first provided to enter the identity data by means of the user interface (100). The processor unit (200) provides the control of the identity data entered by means of the user interface (100). As a first step, the processor unit (200) provides comparison of the identity data entered in the user interface (100) with the data in the memory unit (300). In the case that the processor unit (200) detects that the user identification data was defined in the memory unit (300), it provides the communication data to be received as a second step. In the case that the identity data of the user is determined as not saved in the memory unit (300), the identity information is compared with the data of the state civil registry unit connected to the server (500) by means of the communication unit (400). In case the identity information entered by means of the user interface (100) is found in the state civil registry system, a record containing the identity information is created for the user to be stored in the memory unit (300). In the said recording process, the identity data is encrypted and stored in the memory unit (300). In the case that the processor unit (200) detects that the identity information is not registered in the state civil registry system, it ensures that an error message is sent to the user by means of the user interface (100).

As a second step, the processor unit (200) provides to receive the contact information of the users predefined or newly registered in the memory unit (300). The processor unit (200) primarily provides the comparison of the communication information entered by means of the user interface (100) with the data saved in the memory unit (300). In the case that the processor unit (200) detects that the contact information entered by means of the user interface (100) matches the data saved in the memory unit (300), it allows the third stage to begin. In case the contact information entered by means of the user interface (100) does not match the contact data saved in the memory unit (300), the processor unit (200) provides the user's contact data to be received by means of the user interface (100). The received contact data is encrypted and saved in the memory unit (300). In order to receive the contact information correctly, SMS confirmation and e-mail are sent to the user by means of the processor unit (200). Thus, it is ensured that the contact information is saved in the memory unit (300) after its accuracy is confirmed.

In case the user data and contact information entered by means of the user interface (100) are correctly saved in the memory unit (300), the processor unit (200) allows the third stage to begin, which is the completion of the identification of the international mobile equipment identity number of the user's mobile device (20) with time stamp technology. The user firstly ensures that the international mobile equipment identity number of the mobile device (20) is entered by means of the user interface (100). The processor unit (200) provides the comparison of the international mobile equipment identity number received by means of the user interface (100) with the data stored in the memory unit (300). In the case that it is determined that the international mobile equipment identity number is saved in the memory unit (300) as a result of the comparison, the identification of the number is done with a time stamp by means of the processor unit (200). By this way, the international mobile equipment identity number of the mobile device (20), including the identity and contact information of the user, as well as time data, is stored in the memory unit (300). The memory unit (300) is configured to ensure that mobile data is stored separately both with and without time stamps. In case the processor unit (200) detects that the international mobile equipment identity number entered by means of the user interface (100) is not saved in the memory unit (300), it primarily ensures that the international mobile equipment identity number is saved in the memory unit (300). Depending on the saving of the international mobile equipment identity number in the memory unit (300), the identification of the number is ensured with a time stamp including the identification data and contact data. The processor unit (200) provides virtual storage of the data stored in the memory unit (300) on a remote server (500) by means of the communication unit (400). By means of a user terminal connected to the said remote server (500), authorized users are allowed to monitor and control the data.

Processor unit further enables the international mobile equipment identity number to be inquired by means of the user interface (100). The information within which the international mobile equipment identification number entered by means of the user interface (100) is saved in the system is ensured to be visually presented to the user. By this way, the information on to whom the international mobile equipment identity number belongs is accessed and the user is provided with the lost and/or stolen information through the system. The processor unit (200) ensures that an alarm signal is transmitted to the server (500) by means of the communication unit (400) in case it detects that there is a stealing and/or loss depending on the control of the international mobile equipment identity number. State security units connected to the server (500) ensure that the alarm signal sent to the server (500) is received. By this way, it is ensured that the state security unit is warned against loss and/or stealing situations.

The processor unit is further configured to allow the international mobile equipment identity number of one user to be transferred to another user. The processor unit (200) can enable the transfer of the mobile device (20) with an international mobile equipment identity number identified to a user to another user with a time stamp. By this way, in case the second hand mobile device (20) is used, it is ensured that the international mobile equipment identity number of the mobile device (20) is defined for the new user, and the time stamped international mobile equipment identity number comprising the identity and contact data of the new user is filed and saved in the memory unit (300). This prevents the occurrence of loss and/or stealing situations.

In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a user having a first mobile device (20) comprising a first international mobile equipment identity number wants to replace his mobile device (20) with a second mobile device (20) comprising a second international mobile equipment identity number. In this case, the user is provided to log into the system by means of a provided website. When logging into the system, the user needs to enter his/her identity data and contact information into the system. The system ensures the checking of the user's identity data and contact information. In the case that it is determined that the user information and contact information are already registered in the system, the user needs enter the first international mobile equipment identity number of the first mobile device (20). The user can also inquire the second international mobile equipment identity number of the second device through the system. In the case that the user detects that the second international mobile equipment identity number does not belong to anyone, s/he creates a new record on the system instead of the first international mobile equipment identity number, and ensures that the second international mobile equipment identification number is registered on himself/herself with a time stamp. In this case, it is ensured that the second international mobile equipment identity number of the second mobile device (20) is registered in the database, including the user's identity information and time data. As for the first mobile device (20), it is ensured that the information that it belongs to the user until the change is completed and that it does not belong to the user any more after that is stored in the database. This situation provides measures to be taken against loss and/or stealing situations of mobile devices (20).

The scope of protection of the invention is specified in the attached claims and cannot be limited to what is described in this detailed description for exemplary purposes. Because it is clear that a person skilled in the art can present similar embodiments in the light of what has been described above without departing from the main theme of the invention.
