Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of laundry processing and aims to solve the problem in which a large amount of heat is generated during operation of a direct drive motor of a conventional laundry processing apparatus, leading to temperature increase of the direct drive motor, and accordingly impacting the performance and the service life of the direct drive motor. The present invention provides a direct drive motor for a laundry processing apparatus. The laundry processing apparatus comprises a laundry processing drum. The direct drive motor comprises a front casing, a rear casing, a stator, and a rotor. The front casing and the rear casing are connected to form a motor housing. The stator and the rotor are both disposed within the motor housing. A drive shaft of the rotor is connected to the laundry processing drum. The rotor is disposed at a side close to the front casing. The stator is disposed at a side close to the rear casing. The rear casing is provided with at least one heat dissipation opening. The present invention enables the heat generated by the direct drive motor to be dissipated from the heat dissipation opening, and prevents overheating of the direct drive motor, thereby eliminating impact on the performance of the direct drive motor, and accordingly increasing the service life of the direct drive motor.
