Provided in the present utility model is a direct drive system, comprising: a base; a sliding seat, which is slidably arranged on the base; a mover assembly and a stator assembly, wherein the mover assembly is arranged on the sliding seat, the stator assembly is arranged on the base, an electromagnetic force can be formed between the mover assembly and the stator assembly, so as to drive the sliding seat to slide relative to the base, and the mover assembly and the stator assembly are directly opposite each other in a direction perpendicular to the sliding direction of the sliding seat and are spaced apart from each other to form a gap; and at least one mover protection assembly configured to seal the gap, the mover protection assembly being fixed to the sliding seat and being in contact with the stator assembly. One or more mover protection assemblies are provided, are fixed to the sliding seat, and are in contact with the stator assembly; and each mover protection assembly can seal the gap between the mover assembly and the stator assembly, so that foreign matter can be effectively prevented from entering a mover air gap, thereby improving the reliability of the system.
