Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a directional passive self-driving thin film and a manufacturing method therefor. The manufacturing method for the directional passive self-driving thin film comprises the steps of: depositing a metal thin film on a substrate; employing a laser engraving technique to engrave a directional passive self-driving pattern on the metal thin film; and wet etching the metal thin film on which the direction passive self-driving pattern is engraved to produce a directional passive self-driving thin film. The directional passive self-driving pattern comprises multiple directional passive self-driving pattern units connected head-to-tail. Each of the directional passive self-driving pattern units comprises: a driving area of which the width gradually increases, and a contracting area connected to the driving area and of which the width gradually reduces, where the length of the driving area is longer than the length of the contracting area. The present invention, by means of the laser engraving technique combined with the wet etching method, manufactures and produces the directional passive self-driving thin film provided with overhanging edges, the entire manufacturing process obviates the need for a mask, the manufacturing process is very simple and convenient.
