Abstract:

Provided is a disaster assistance system configured so that, when a disaster occurs, mobile bodies such as camping vehicles can be utilized to carry out volunteer activities in a safe and speedy manner in cooperation with government offices, local governments, and volunteer groups, and the prompt rescue of disaster victims can be carried out.　A satellite 10, a status-collecting center 12, a cabinet office 14, servers 16 of a meteorological agency, a fire defense agency, and the like, and servers 18 of a metropolitan police department, a ministry of internal affairs and communications, and the like, are connected to a communication network 21. The status-collecting center 12, the cabinet office 14, the servers 16 of the meteorological agency, the fire defense agency, and the like, the servers 18 of the metropolitan police department, the ministry of internal affairs and communications, and the like, a volunteer center 20 proximate to a region, mobile terminals 22 of residents and volunteers, and a disaster assistance information providing site 32 are connected via a communication network 32 to share information with each other, and the disaster assistance information providing site 32 dispatches a camping vehicle 24A and a lightweight truck 24E in a pair to a disaster site.
